Digital Marketing, increasingly important in Latam

Online marketing is gaining more and more relevance in Latin America, a place where at WANNADS we always try to focus since we have a common language.

The study «DIGITAL MARKETING IN LATIN AMERICA, customer experience as the center of business strategy 2022» has been developed with the aim of evaluating and demonstrating how digital marketing is growing exponentially in organizations. Martech, the concept that merges technology and marketing, is the key technological ecosystem for promoting digital marketing and, consequently, improving company sales.

The rise of digitization places digital marketing as a safe bet to reduce costs, improve brand positioning and increase the profitability of Latin American companies. But a series of challenges still remains to be faced for digital marketing to gain maturity in Latin American organizations.

Digital marketing is not a new concept. In fact, in Latin America it is gaining special relevance. With the outbreak of the pandemic, companies have had to adapt to an almost entirely digital environment and their business strategies have had to change, thus breaking many paradigms in the markets.

In this sense, digital marketing has experienced exponential growth and is expected to continue advancing in the coming years. According to the statistical portal Statista, in 2021 investment in digital marketing in Latin America was almost 11,000 million dollars, by 2024 it is expected to exceed 15,600 million.

Different leaders from more than 60 companies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru participated in the survey.
